Woman and girl, sweet and surly, positive and melancholic, party girl and lonely girl: a kaleidoscope of aspects and nuances coexist in the eclectic personality of Simonetta Columbu, young actress and star of the I am SISLEY Campaign.

Her first passion, acting, is a question of DNA: her first time on stage was a work where her father Giovanni was the director. This "family vice", which brought her from Cagliari to Rome via London, is at the origin of her promising career as an actress. Tenacious, positive, confident towards life and people, Simonetta is a transparent and fascinating soul: happiness is her wake-up call, her inseparable dog Lina is her right arm, her strongest bond is with her grandparents, her instinct is the best navigator to follow in her life.

Meticulous, tidy, precise, like a Virgo: this is how Simonetta Columbu, who grew up in a family of artists from Cagliari, describes herself. After high school and a very short experience in London (two months were enough for her in the cloudy city), she headed to Rome and fell in love. After four years of study at the Duse Theater, an experience at Salotto 42, a very popular historical venue, the first endeavors were alongside her father and director, in films Su Re and Surbiles, before being chosen by Daniele Luchetti as a costar of Io sono Tempesta alongside Elio Germano and Marco Giallini. Known to television audiences for her role as Ginevra in the television series Dio ci aiuti (God Help Us), Simonetta is a rousing talent. She is inspired by Penelope Cruz, Monica Vitti, Anna Magnani, but she strongly believes that everyone should choose their own path, following their passions.

She still doesn't know what the future holds for her, but one thing is certain: she'll never pass up on the carbonara.
