Spring Summer 2021 Campaign

I am SISLEY

LIFE IS TASTY

Sassicaia wine, a plate of cacciucco and love for the sea: Andrea Volpe, the third headliner of the I am SISLEY Campaign, is a self-made chef to put on your radar.

Could it have been the fresh and colorful fish caught by his grandfather or Andrea's resourcefulness that led to his passion for seafood cuisine? He's sure that his childhood played a fundamental role, but his urban spirit and his desire to venture out into some of the most important international cuisines have certainly done the rest.

Andrea cooks for those who love what he does, to give every customer an unforgettable experience ( he would have loved to see Jimi Hendrix at one of his tables...) and because the culinary arts are his calling.

I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY     I am SISLEY

Andrea dreams of making his way back to Tuscany to raise his children in Italy. In the meantime, he's working as a private chef during the South African summer and as a chef during the summers in Elba. He's been in South Africa for 15 years, where he opened his restaurant Pesce Azzurro in Cape Town, he's worked all over Italy alongside talented chefs: an experience in his youth at Michelin-starred restaurant La Pineta in Marina di Bibbona was where he learned to use high-end ingredients to create "his" cuisine, as well as stops at Sant'Andrea inside Palermo's Vucciria Market and Da Antonio in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the heart of Chianti land.

His style? A perfect mix of man at sea and eclectic traveller.
